Satyameva Jayathe will be loosely based on Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee which had Amitabh, Aishwarya Rai, Ajay Devagan and Akshay Kumar in the lead. In Telugu, Dr. Rajasekhar will play the role done by Amitabh, Sanjana will play the role of Jayaprada, Clinto will play Aishwarya Rai while Milind Soman will play Ajay Devagan.
